Teamspeak is a fantastic way for members of THN to communicate with each other in real time for any purpose being it game related or other. Many of us have been encouraged to use it and many of us do which is a good thing, however, sometimes it is chaotic when a channel is full of people. Now on to the point of this post.
In several past games we've played, people started to continuously talk on teamspeak about unimportant things, talking over each other and yelling or shouting occasionally. There were also people talking about things other than the game in hand. It all mounted up to a stream of noise that I was constantly being tortured with. I found it difficult to concentrate on the game, to hear what was going on and to hear what people were saying for those of us who were using in-game voice.
I am sure other people must have been bothered with this as well. It should be important to you all that you understand to use teamspeak for important communication only during a practise game or even during a match. Things become hectic on teamspeak if there are a great number of people on at the same time.
In short, everyone must use teamspeak with care. Don't talk over one another, talk softly and lightly as much as possible and during a match like last night use in game voice as much as you can.
