Teamspeak3 Avatars

There appears to be a bug or perhaps max reached issue with the new avatar system on Teamspeak 3.

I have tried setting an avatar. But alas, I get misc error messages.
"invalid size" is the most common one.
Both Umb and KC have avatars.
And Umb sent me the pic he uses. I tried setting my avatar with the pic.
And I still get "invalid size".

Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue might be?
I have the latest client release. And I have tried uninst/reinstalling the client(and clearing my caches).

This one really has me stumped. Especially since I have been unable to locate any form of solution to this on the web.

So any feedback would be greatly apreciated.

it may be that umb/myself/whoever else uploaded the avatar with a previous version of the TS3 client/server installed - remember it's still beta and that it's entirely possible that functionality has been broken.

Or that perhaps it's been disabled.

Also, you say you have the latest client version, what actual version is that?

Latest updated version(checked this today):
3.0.0-beta12[build: 9931]

As for what versions used: Umb and KC had the same version as me according to the client info.

Having looked into this, seems that server admins can do it regardless, but us mere mortals can only do it if a server is set to allow it.

Avatars on teamspeak are rather pointless, so it's no real loss .

Still vexes me that I cannot seem to find out the exact reason as to why this is happening. So hoping that any of the admins will be able to provide an answer. If there has been any changes as to lock the function recently or if it is a bug or whatever it is.

Avatars on teamspeak are rather pointless, so it's no real loss .

Actually i think avatars can be of some use.
As a lot of us play different games by different handles, having one unified picture to be recognized by can be useful.

Ah but the phonetic names not working isnt a loss, any idea if that is enabled, i can get it to read the names back but not announce it when joining/leaving.
