So I want to embed a couple of clips from a youtube video into tomorrow's lecture (yes, I know I should have thought about this before...). I have succeeded in downloading the whole thing as flv and converting it to wmv, but when I insert it into Powerpoint it plays the whole six minute video and doesn't give me the option to fast forward to the relevant place. Does anyone know any (free) software that would let me edit the video to create two short snippets? Or do you have any other ideas (preferably relevant to my current distress)?
