TF2 Clan?

So Enemy Down are running a TF2 Ladder and I was wondering what people think about the whole idea of a TF2 clan. Now, I don't plan to start this any time soon (unless there is a lot of support), maybe after Christmas, maybe before. The Enemy Down ladder is an 8v8 which we can easily do I reckon if people are up for it.

I don't plan to make this a mega serious thing, I believe some of our members have quite a lot of skill and a bit of competitiveness is always great fun and it'd be good to get together once a week for a good orchestrated killing session.

As you say wait until christmas and see what the lie of the land is with TF2, hopefully we'll all still be loving it and then we could get some clanage going, but yeah I'd love to let my scout loving be felt by all.

Last night clearly showed that there is a lot of skill with TF2 in the THN community. I have no doubt we would be a formidable enemy to any clan and do well in a ladder or league for that matter. Moreover, there is enough players to pick and chose from.

I am not volunteering myself for this but I would recommned that a couple of organised friendlies with other clans before christmas would be a good idea. This would set the ball rolling and put the TF2 people in the right mind set ready for serious competitive killing in 2008.

Thanks to Traxdata and waterproofbob the BF2142 ladder is now well underway. It only takes one organasied individual to set up games. THN people tend to turn up to organised games - there is no problem there.

Yeah, well after Christmas I shall persue this more, I just wanted to see if everyone is interested in doing so. We'd need more than 6 people, though.

Actually, I've changed my vote to "Maybe". I'd play some TF2 at clan/ladder level but I can't meet the "regularly" for the unequivocal yes.
