[TF2] Team Fortress evening

So, we had quite a few folks on playing some TF2 tonight. It was a rather short game, but I think everyone had fun. So let's do it again Monday freakin' evening! BOINK!

I'm listing it as 20:00-23:00, but realistically it could run earlier (and for me, anyway) later than that. Just show up on Monday and find everyone in steam!

I've added a chunk of you who said yes / maybe to my steam friends list, as i want to try and get the "play on server with # of ur steam friends list" and maybe the "ubercharge # of ur steam friends" achievements.

Couldn't find Big_D or taffy though in the THN group with any obvious names, so if anyone can help me out with their actual steam names then twould be handy! ta

A big thanks from me to all those who turned up, was a truly awesome game... there was laughter, tears, and of course acheivement unlocking, but in the end, the server gave up under the strain and broke down. Typical.

Wouldn't mind making this a regular thing, anyone else feeling the same way?

I'm on damn near every night anyway (thought normally not until later) so count me in. I'd prefer to find a server with standard rules next time, too. Fast respawn makes attacking pretty much impossible in some maps.

Public games yes, I don't find TF2 interesting enough to play it competitively any more though!

Had some good times last night (inbetween me going off and cooking dinner. Gotta get priorities right ) and twas a bit annoying when the server just conked out a cupla seconds before the round start! There werent quite enough people for me to get the steam friends achievement, and I cant remember who the hell ive ubered out of my steam friends so far!

Def up for making it a regular thing.

now that i have a shiny fresh install i'll def be up for some TF2, though not next Mon as i'll be on the motorway...

We took a break after that, but when we got back in there was a game update that downloaded. Seems the server likely went down to get updated... Just incredibly bad timing for our game I guess.
