In the last two days Ive unlocked all the pyro stuffs, and Im only two medic achievements short of unlocking all of those... So basically, I'm now win ;)

We actually had a good number on tonight, let's see if we can't get those friends achievements for everyone on Wednesday :D

I now have at least 18 achievements unlocked for each class :)

So, I shall have to get used to the back burner, but the kritzkrieg is awesome

I find that the backburner is damn near useless with lag, it never registers critical hits unless both you and the target are perfectly still :/

Though I suppose compression blasting wouldn't be much fun under those conditions either...

I generally play on a 24/7 Goldrush server, as I've found that to have the best mixes of all the classes, and generally be the most fun and even map.

The Backburner does great on it, as if you can sneak behind the people pushing the cart, or just run crazily at them from around a corner, 90% or more of your hits will be on their backs, making medic/heavy combos a piece of (burnt) cake :)

I hate everything about payload. Dunno why just makes me want to never play the game ever again whenever I play it. I just can't seem to kill anyone or have any influence on the map, which for me is immensely frustrating.

Also defo not going on a 24/7 server. I like the map variation otherwise I get very bored really fast.

The THN server is up and running, of course.

I'll try to be around for a bit, though possibly a bit later on.

THN server always seems either empty or very low on players, I prefer the nice big 32 player ones, and the one Im on is almost always full.
I find payload works better when the teamwork is better, and unlike the randomness of a single uber charge on CP matches winning a point, that doesnt happen as much on payload.

Still, each to their own, tis what gives the game its variation :p

When we get about 6 ppl on the THN server will be full really quickly. It's just a case of starting it going and it'll fill fast.

A good map I came across recently was a conversion of dustbowl to a payload map, and I must admit it was a lot of fun. Yeah, it's a different play style and takes some getting used to, but the matches I've been in so far have been enjoyable and as such I happily play payload maps :).

That said, I don't like turbine as inclusion in the official maps lineup - it makes me die a little inside every time I play it, don't know what valve were thinking when then they added it! :p

i'll try and have a look into the problems over this week

Ronin if it's ok with you when you get a chance you could give me the login that'll make it a bit easier for me to have a look at it as it's most likely something small we missed in the config
