I've watched the original series and seen the new filum, enjoyable though they both were (espcially the planet factory, that was awesome ), I wouldn't watch them again...

HHGTG was, in fact, a radio series first. Then a book, then a TV series, then a couple of books, then an infocom game, then another book, then an unfinished book (Salmon of Doubt) and finally the movie.

Oh, and also there was Starship Titanic, but that was more a derivative than anything else so it doesn't count .
