Ahey, all,

Since my last thread was all ominous and full of woe and despair, although it did end well, I decided to start a lighter, more chatty one.

Think of it as my way of stepping into the THN family beyond the WoW guild.

The challenge is to be the first to figure out where I got my avatar.

The followup is to tell me where you got yours and why.

I got mine from a webcomic. I can't remeber for the life of me what it is. I've been searching for months!

I'm guessing yours is from some 8bit game...

My avatar has been Max Payne for as far back as I can remember. I just thought it portrayed my kind of character when playing death match games, especially with a name such as KillCrazy.

Well, it looks like it's from one of those nice old adventure games for the amiga/early PC... and it's a cow's head. Other than that, I don't know.

My avatar is a pic of me, and I have it because I don't really like having a picture of someone else "representing" me, or whatever you want to call it.

In it, I'm at the morgue, being a jackass.

Kudos to you for recognizing it. Specifically, it's the symbol for the highest patent you get for one of your guys as they all get promoted, which is Coronel, if I recall correctly.

I use it to remind me that some games never get old. In fact, as late as 2006, I replayd through the whole of UFO, which here in Portugal is known for its other name, XCom: UFO, and had great fun while doing it.

I use it to remind me that some games never get old. In fact, as late as 2006, I replayd through the whole of UFO, which here in Portugal is known for its other name, XCom: UFO, and had great fun while doing it.

I've got it installed via dosbox on my (work ) laptop. It's great for chilling on the couch and feeling all nostalgic
