The Great THN Photoshop Challenge

Inspired by the Photoshop Tutorials thread, (and the threats thrown about near the end,) I bring you The Great THN Photoshop Challenge. Fire up your imagination, sharpen your hand/eye coordination skills, and have google image search at the ready.

How does it work? Simple. Photoshop something to do with any game or games you like. Anything you like. It can be simple, it can be pretty, it can be funny, it can be your WoW character aggroing a swat team. Wait no, that last one is gold, I want it. Back off.

Once the contest closes, a poll will be opened to determine the winner.

Rules:

1. Entries must comply with forum rules
   Obviously. Disrespect towards other members WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
2. Entries cannot be based on someone else's submission
   Be original. That's what this is all about.
3. Once an entry is submitted, it cannot be changed
4. Submit as many pictures as you want
5. Contest will close June 14 2006, 23:59 GMT.
6. The rules will change at any time should I deem it necessary

Any submission I feel is breaking the rules will be disqualified. Any decisions made by me are final. I'd recommend hanging on to all source images and any working copies, should there be a dispute.

Don't have photoshop? There's a 30 day trial at the adobe site. There are also those who swear by GIMP, though I can't say I'm one of them.

The internet is filled with both simple and complex photoshop tutorials, so don't be scared, you'll know what you're doing in no time. If you have specific questions, don't hesitate to ask here, I'm sure someone will know the answer.

Of course. Use any programs available to you. If you think you can best everyone else by using mspaint, then go for it

about 2 hours in photoshop 7, the ships were from ingame screenshots and the rest is just made up

So I've been lacking in time for this lately, and by the looks of things so has everyone else. Would it help anyone if I pushed the end date back a week or two?

Ive made a submission. Im not totally pleased with it (as I never am) but heres mine. I originally made it as a new, more space-themed banner for the THN OGame alliance but thats for Macca to decide upon. I used a picture of Sol for the background, a couple of Sulacos from Aliens and Pyros from Descent for the ships, and then I squidged it all together on Photoshop.

Yeah I remember that . I don't think we ever got it to work on the CSS server though .
