Heya, folks,
I've disabled the ability for people to edit their own guild notes. Here's why:
The guild now has 372 characters belonging to 122 accounts. Keeping track of who's who is getting a bit difficult.
So, I've implemented a policy whereby everyone's public note begins with their main character's name. This makes it possible to go to the guild roster, view Guild Status, sort by Note and have everyone's characters grouped up.
From there, we can see who's been online, who's been away, who is who's alt and a number of other stuffs.
For this to work, even main characters must have their notes begin with their own name.
It's also necessary that people inviting alts into the guild remember to set this tidbit of information, but since only Veterans and above can invite, that should be easier to keep hold of.
Comments?
Cheers,
J.
