Ah yes, classic statistics theory. From academics types that probably didnt go out much. :)

There's only one haven though... Could it be he's no monkey after all?

Another thing to think of, if you had an infinite number of monkeys there would always be one that by random genetic mutations would be identical to: YOU!

That depends. If it were an infinite number of identical monkeys, which I believe is implied, then it wouldnt be true. If it was an infinite number of monkeys produced by an infinite number of events of sexual intercourse (and even then, it would have to be after an infinite number of generations produced by an infinite number of events of sexual intercourse. Not a single pair of monkeys going at it infinitely . see below.) ... then perhaps you might come out ... somewhere. Also, youd have to assume that a human being is, in fact, a monkey. And if that fact is true, then any other random genetically mutated being spawned from (or at the same time as, as you seem to imply) the monkeys would also be classified as a monkey; even if it had five hundred teeth, was cold blooded and was coloured blue. I find a flaw in your theorem, although perhaps a slightly ambiguous 'point of view-ish' flaw.

Id also have to say that a random genetic mutation of that magnitude after one generation would be terribly unlikely, if not impossible. A regular banana-muncher would be unable to sustain a human embryo inside itself. You would first have to produce a monkey with the capability to support human gestation.
