They most likely wont open up this new server to transfers for a while. think about it, with the gates of An'Quirage[sp?] still closed they dont wanna open it incase some jackass who has finished the chain to come in and set of the event, or have a bunch of 70's show up and open the gates by themselves.
Besides i must agree with Umb that it does seem fucking retarded that they have made a new realm, SSL is dying slowly, and from what i hear there are quite a few other servers drastically on the decline, opening up a new server isnt going to solve that problem if anything it will make it worse.
however i must say its tempting to start playing again to just see what its like playing on a brand new server.
Im still hoping they make a server thats pre TBC only, so the cap is lv 60 so people like myself and many others who missed out on old content and would like to see it can. I mean yea sure we can go to AQ40 and molten core at lv 70 but it just feels like a waste of time and too easy at that stage.
Oh and the other thing i like to point out, this new realm is another PvE one... yay! so its just another realm of people we will never see in our BG's. its not goign to improve the wait times until people on there are lv 70 which will take a few weeks minimum, and even then if you look at our current battlegroups the only people you see on there are from SSL or Xavius, so its not really going to help the BG's much at all.
