The weather

So, as thatbird literally just mentioned in the shoutbox, it's raining like a bastard here in Sunny Soton at the moment. And I got thinking (in a very British way), how's the weather in other parts of the world. And, well, I came across this.

All I really have to say now is that I feel that Britain is even more boring then I thought. I wish we had weather like that over here every now and then, it would be so damn cool!

Your right we do have the most boring weather! Its a shame really we ahve such a average climate that the most we got is a lightning in the summer!

But its way cool!

I dunno I think the rain and a nice tub of ice cream and a movie could be worse!

Some years back we were out in our cabin, sitting on the patio (if that's the word) during a thunderstorm. The lightning struck about 60 feet away, smack in the middle of the dirt road (between some very high trees, strangely enough). The sound was incredible, and stones hit our house (although luckily none of the windows, and none of us ;) ).
