Things to do in NY

...so, I'm going to NY for the NPTprepCom (it's about nukes. Lots of meetings with diplomats and other NGO's). I don't know where I'll be staying, but somewhere on manhattan. The conference is in the UN headquarters. I'll have a few hours there and there to go do whatever I want, and now I need some good ideas on what to do I'll drop by MOMA and the Guggenheim, and probably just walk around a bit as well, but is there anything in particular anyone want to recommend? I'll be there may 3-10.

Also, woot for free trips! Looks like I'm going to Helsinki in april, and possibly to Geneva this summer and Vienna next year

Check out the comedy club scene. I loved it !

Also, find the AT&T monolith and tell me if it's true that it doesn't have any windows. I was very staggered when, walking around the island, I came across a 35-story building (which was actually shorter than evrything else around it), but it didn't have any windows! It freaked me out!

I'm afraid there's probably not much more to do except hit the tourist traps...
