As a reminder, here's the different admin control levels that we have come up with:
0. Say, Yell, Kick, Temp Ban, Switch any players team+squads, Mute Players,
1. All of the above including; Permaban, Set nextmap/Switch map instantly,
2. Procon Layer Access (Technically anyone with access to a pc running this would have this level)
3. Clanforge Access
Level 0 is avaliable to all
Level 1 is for contributors & a small number of other people.
Level 2 is the highest responsibilty(and control), and could be offered to anyone.
Level 3 Is for myself and Mk1 only.
One extra thing to note for all you admins, the program that allows the in-game functionality to happen is called procon and is run by Mk1, but it's a Windows-only program. This means that currently he's running it himself from his own PC - if he's offline or having connection issues, or something like that then the ingame commands will NOT work.
There is a solution to this, but we need a Windows server to be able to run what Procon calls a "Layer server" on - essentially, this controls the BF3 server and we then use the procon client to modify the layer server instead of it using its own local set of configs. It would then be the layer server that handles execution of the ingame commands. Having that on 24/7 would also allow us to have things like stats tracking on the server, which may be interesting to those of you who like graphs
