THN CoD clan disbanded

Well, It's been a week since I was told about this so in case anyone gets any ideas about wanting to join our CoD4 clan I thought I should let people know in a more public manner that THN's CoD4 clan has disbanded.

Why? Simply put, there are a number of members that would like to play more often than once a week. Due to the limited squad we have here at THN this isn't really a feasible thing to do so the main members of our THN CoD4 clan have now applied to join .:iGi:.

This clan is Kirby's clan (well, the one he has been part of for ages now) and they are more than willing to welcome us into the fold. If you still want to play competitive CoD4 then I suggest that you go to the iGi page and opst in their recruitment section.

Also, I would like to state that the reason for people leaving is NOT because "we're crap" or "we hate your guts" - it's simply the fact that THN with its current number of players and their availability is unable to play competitively as often as some of us would like

Thank you for writing this bloke, this should have already been done and I of course would have written this message had I not been off on enforced leave and for that I apologise on behalf of the CoD admin team.

Trax Nanor and I are going to play with iGi to try and get some regular matches going(2-3 at least a week, they are a nice bunch of players and are much more focused on the serious competitive clanning side of life. THNs brilliance is it's community feel and the way we can all play whatever we want and almost always have someone to play with. This brilliance is also a downside when it comes to organising the clan style stuff especially from an FPS point of view.


The important thing is this. For anyone who is still serious about CoD and wants to get some serious matches going then feel free to join iGi, Greg the admin has a more the merrier policy.

I hope no one feels in anyway let down by this and if that is the case then I'm really sorry. I did this very successfully last year with 2142 and it allowed me to love the game and at the same time contribute to THN and I feel it works well as iGi and THN are so different.

We'll all still be playing CoD so those who don't want serious clanning but still enjoy the game can play with us.


Thankyou to all who have contributed in the las few months and it's been a lot of fun, if not a little stressful every once in a while.

As was said; If you wish to join us going to iGi then by all means go ahead. Even if a few of the old THN CoD clan are hanging about on X-Fire with nothing to do we can always get an old scrim going for the sake of it.
