As you may or may not know the THN BF2 team has been duking it out for a place in the top spot of the ED league over the past 7 weeks.

It has so-far been a good league. A few dramas have kept the ED forums busy with a few flame wars and some surprise dropouts, but overall the 32 player league has been hard fought and well contested.

We have had a pretty good run of things the whole way. Only faltering to the might dark horses from Norway; IC. A bit of luck has played into our hands, as IC were penalised for an illegal action ingame that resulted in a contested and char-grilled match draw against CT.

That result has put IC out of the running for first place.

So the title hangs in the balance between our fair selves and the cruel yet friendly enemy that is AWOL. It comes down to an apocolyptic final that was always on the cards.

The match will be tight. It's going to be hard fought the whole way, and at at the end there will be broken egos and jubilant celebrations.

All I can say is we've tried the bitter taste of defeat.

It's time we cracked open the champagne.

Only after we've won. I have no qualms about shooting him (when I actually manage it ), but we need him as our mobile spawn point so the skilled members of Alpha can get back into the fight after being overwhelmed by the 3 squads Piacular is hiding from.
