In another thread I mistakenly indicated that a Guild Charter would cost us 1 gold. Last I checked, a Charter would actually only cost us 10 silver.

Marvelous news.

So, I need two things from you:

1. 1 silver, each, if you can possibly spare it. Send it/give it to Vekma.
2. Your preferred guild name(s).

Let's gather a list of good names and then we can take a vote. Remember that we'll need to comply with RP-server naming policies, so "The L33t G4nk0rz" won't wash, nor probably will the straight up "The Haven Net".

It'd be good to get the word "Haven" in the title somewhere, though!

Haven means 'a shelter serving as a place of safety or sanctuary', so how about 'Safe Haven' or even just 'sanctuary'?

The silver won't be a problem.

There is actually a Haven Guild on another server.

I like the idea of something along the Safe Haven idea.

I'm not sure what length we can have either. I know you can have "the house of blade", though, so anything that length or shorter will work.

I like the idea of playing on the theme of "haven" as Nanor did with "sanctuary", but my thesaurus hasn't left me with any better words on a quick inspection.

Still, keeping with this "safe", "protective", "sanctuary" theme, I might consider names such as:

• Aegis of the Horde
• Haven's Guardians
• Havenguard
• Last Bastion
• Last Sanctuary

Alternatively, we could go with the equally attractive group/community metaphor that thatbloke followed, and perhaps look at:

• Haven's Horde
• The Wanderers
• Haven's Outriders

Not necessarily happy with all those, but that's the best I've come up with so far.

Last Bastion sounds good. Haven guard sounds like we protect Haven

I'm trying to think of names that combine the meaning of 'haven' (sanctuary, shelter, etc) with the image of a tree (bough, branch, root, arbour, etc) ... but nothing worthwhile is coming out!
