THN in WoW (for real this time)

Branching off from the various previous threads we've got in this subject, it looks like we're really close to critical mass for getting a THN WoW playgroup together.

Currently, I believe the following people are interested (either now or "shortly")...

• Ronin Storm
• Rojaws (not registered here, but will be shortly)
• Haven
• Shadow
• SgtFury
• thatbloke (post degree?)
• thatbird
• Nanor
• Tactical Ninja (not seen him in a while)
• Thought (not registered here, busy but might be interested)
• Ines (not registered here, busy but might be interested)

There's a few others registered as interested in WoW via the usergroup but I've not seen much (any?) activity from them.

Broadly, we all seem to be interested in playing Horde (correct me if I've misread that).

So, there's one more decision we should get out of the way to make sure we're all going the same direction and so we can choose a server.

1. PvP or RPPvP?

I've attached a poll above to let yourself be heard. I suggest we just go with the majority. I don't think it's a big thing either way -- I think one can exist on an RP server merely by not /yelling the latest football results or /saying real world stuff. We've got TeamSpeak after all.

Fury, I wouldn't worry. For me, my primary character is on Bronzebeard and I plan on playing something very different for this. I don't think we're going to outdistance you or anything.

Not entirely sure about wow. Can you pay the subscription by switch or paypal? and if so is it a rolling monthly?

Plus ASDA is doing a pack with a 60 day card included + the month you get in the normal pack for ?44.

You can set up a subscription from Switch/Solo/Maestro cards as well as all the usual Visa/Mastercard, etc. You can also buy special game time cards from various places already mentioned. Specialist game stores (like GAME) may sell them over the counter...

Edit: and when you buy the game it comes with 30 days of play time already included... so you can make up your mind.
