Do you wish to be added to this list.

If so, then post up your BF2 User name.

This list can give you a quick idea where you stand in ranking within the clan.
It also gives the BF2 admins an idea of your skills, for those of you who are working there butt's off to get in a clan match.

Also can a BF2 Admin please post a link to this list, as a sticky, in its own thread.

Its fair enough using this system but a judgment can't be made on score alone. The KD Ratio and SPM must be taken account along with many other things.

On the old site RoninStorm put alot of time and effort into putting together a SS with everyones stats http://archive.thehavennet.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2048

That was very useful, obviously I'm not suggesting that anybody should try make another one as it would take a lot of time, but just showing that there are many things to get taken into account. Don't want the ones at the bottom of the list to get snubbed cause they have only played soo many hours.

Lol, I've still got those Excel spreadsheets saved on my comp somewhere, good ol' Ronin :).

A good indication of skill are the weapon KD ratios.

the thing is, medics and jet/chopper whores are always going to have the highest SPM and K : D anyway so I really don't pay much attention to these stats... I personally think the guy "blazin.uk" at the top of the global rankings is not that skilled, just has a shedload of time on his hands so that he can play all the time as a medic and revive people... its not difficult in my opinion.
I think the other guy who has been jostling with him for that top spot is much more deserving as he plays mostly as a sniper and therefore in my opinion is a much better player

I still have the masters for those, but I have the impression that I could suck all that information into the spreadsheet via XSLT rather than the mad manual method I was using before. That said, I'm not offering to do it, just figuring that it could be done.

In reply to That bloke, I have noticed you play 90% A/T, and you are never going to get the points this class deserves.
But..
We do recognise the importance of A/T within the clan in matches and on public servers. And it isnt always going to be bad, because there is still a lot to learn about, especially how to use the under-powered, short range, pea shooter of a gun. I regularly get medals at the end of the round with this kit, but i have put in over 120 hours of using it.
As for changing class, then go for it. I now play a certain class depending on the map, ie: A/T on Kubra - Engie on Songhua - Medic on Sharqi. But on the negative side, theres nothing worse than seeing everyone cut down by a tank, when all you have got to counter it, is shock paddles.

P.S. Dont expect to point farm as an engie. My highest repair points in one round is 12. Although the shotty at close range is outstanding.

Argh its really annoying,my scores are rubbish because when i started to get good i had to go on holiday and then i dint install the patch right away,so i would be above you thatbloke,Engineer is one of the best classes by far

All i am saying is that the scores should not be taken as the ONLY reflection of how "good" someone is... as SO MANY times I hit tanks and APC's with rockets but then do not get a kill assist when the vehicle blows up or if the occupant gets out and is then killed another way.

I have begun to try a bit of engineering and sniping, however... I used to be a damn good sniper in good ol' bf1942!
