Right It's time for a bob style break down so hold onto your wives and start throwing your man parts all over the place in a violent display of manliness.
The match took place on a Battlefield many yrs from now in 2142 to be exact.
If you are lazy we brutalised them mostly in the face.If you care read on.
We had 4 brutal rounds to play and a THN squad being fresh faced and still without a serious practice played a far more experienced Yorkshire lads.
The 2 maps were Belgrade and Tunis Harbour.
Belgrade first
Bobsquad consisting of waterproofbob and his two saintly medics Hotstuff Thatbloke were given the task of taking and holding Statue, which after a little argy bargy we did valiantly and then essentially held that for the rest of the round allowing us to aid Trax's Alpha squad (which was for a time called sausage made up of Traxata MBobby and to begin with Danie, then replaced by taffy) with their trickier task of taking either ruin or com tower to give that ever illusive bleed. At first the experience of YL seemed to be holding as they altho not able to out shoot us managed to hold 3 of the 5 for a while until Trax's squad started to become more flexible and using statue as a spawn they swapped between com tower and ruin not allowing the YL chaps to solidify a good defence. This came a little too late in this round and as the timer went down the score was 64-98 to YL. This was a sublime effort as we were having big connection issues and at one point had 2 players drop and were 4 Vs 6
At this point Taffy stepped in and the bobsquad became bob Thatbloke and Taffy. the Sausage squad became Trax Hotstuff and MBobby.
We were defo were out gunning them and the KDs really showed this as even tho we just lost on tickets we got all 3 medals. As we hadn't played this map as a team before this was a big boost.
Into round 2
The glorious bobsquad again went to statue and essentially wrote a big sign with this is ours on it and thats how it stayed. Very well played boys.
The YL chaps again managed a slight jump on the other flags and we again initially started a little slow. We eventually managed to get a good balance of flags even holding 3/5 for a long stretch but it meant we were a little spread out from a lack of prep tbh as we hadn't practice.
It was another good round with THN again 1Vs1 out shooting the YL. but KDs don't win rounds and the ticket count was 78-103
This meant a 59 point deficit going into Tunis Harbour, where we had practiced against the awesome TCF on Wednesday.
Round 1 Tunis
We knew gun to gun we where at least their equal going into this round and with no uncap we knew if we hit the tactic fast we could take them.
This time the bobsquad was taffy and Hotstuff and that rubbish waterproofbob
squad sausage ( I know silly name but they like it) was Trax Bloke and Mbobby.
bobsquad went straight to office docks and then were given the task of pushing towards bridge ( the right flank) while sausage (ok thats just silly) took the left in an attempt to close it off and get the cap out. Altho the blitz did knock them back they were back up and pushing so we had to play hard to get to bridge. They at one stage had our back point and seemed to look as if they were going to push on however some great squad action from both squads meant we recapped outer docks and then sausage pulled a gem out of the bag capping their back point, bobsquad moving in for the kill capped bridge and then it was a case of taking out the trash. thus we got a glorious cap out getting a wooping
150-0 for the round putting us ahead for the final round.
Round 2 Tunis
keeping the squads as they were we started defensively expecting a big attacking start, we took the attack out rapidly with a some what impressive 13-0 kill ratio in the first 2 mins for some loser called waterproofblob i think.
We then started to push back and almost had another cap out, then they pushed and almost got us down to just one flag. In the end the mighty THN medic pile of love won the day and got a great round score of 146-73.
This meant a great final total of 438-274 to the slightly sexy if not a little pumped up THN boys.
Well done to everyone who played and a big thanks to my glorious bobsquad who did a magnificent job through out the match. I would thank Trax's crazily named sausage but he can do that himself. Well played lads and this really is a great starting point as this was the clan tipped to come second.
