There has been a hot discussion tonight!

People started picking on me for using a Mac-Book, and it's not the first time.
I (n plain english) got pissed as hell, (with reason)

For some reason everyone picks on me for using Mac, I even got the guild channel muted. I know for a fact Kersh uses a Mac-Pro!

So here goes. I've got some issues IRL and taking shit in-game makes me go mental. The Haven is a friendly guild, I've done everything I can for the Haven, but when a player says that I've got "social-Dissorders! I take it personal as hell,
Next fucker that says shit like that to me will be kicked and reported! (and that's a promise).

But for tonight, I apologize for my outburst, I didn't mean for it to happen!

But please! When you have a bad comment about Mac, keep it to your self!

Truly yours: Ínòríón (In Orion)

You didn't get the guild channel muted, mate. I muted it because I was getting annoyed that people weren't listening, and that it was distracting us from the raid. You didn't cause that, it was people not dropping the topic when their guild master told them to.

In my view, you have nothing to apologise for, so don't worry, mate.

You have nothing to apologise for and I understand that taking shit about the mac can be rough. I know I am guilty of taking the piss out of the mac, but then again I have a PS3 so I get the same in kind for having one (Baldi and Umbra, mainly xD)

mmmmh macs the sooner i have £900 the better (yay for students ~15% discount when purchased from a uni computer :) ) plus parallels means you can run windows (or more importantly linux) programs from the mac desktop without having to reboot \o/

you can do that with windows... just don't expect windows to like it for more than 5 minutes before it com plains in it's unique way (freeze, crash, possible bsod)

I never understand everyones issues with windows. My current install has been perfectly stable for a year and a half now. It's easy to use it does everything i need it to and it's not accompanied by a massively overpriced piece of hardware with an apple on it. MACs are very powerful pcs but they are far too expensive for what you get. If you have the money to properly kit one out then go nuts as leopard has some very nice features, but if you have the money to do that then why not just build a kick ass custom rig. It seems more of a status symbol than anything else. I'd rather spend the big money on building a stunning duel cooling loop OCing monster. But hey that's just me I guess each to their own.

Mmm, I agree. I've never seen the point of Macs. What can an Apple do that Windows can't? And if you say Windows crashes well then why not use linux? It's free and does what Apple does.

Because I wanted a good laptop that'd last me several years, and Linux, though I'm a fan of it, has terrible laptop driver support and no native WoW port. I have a small Windows partition on this thing, but I just use it to run Windows-only games. That, and when I bought it it cost about as much as an equivalently-specced Dell laptop, and I like the OS and had the money. I have no issue with people using Windows if they like it, it's all personal preference, I just use what works for me.

Must be something wrong with the things, then. Same as with certain Windows machines that crash a lot. Poorly-maintained machines will be unstable no matter what they're running.
