Alot of this song is performed with what are called "Hammer ons" and "Pull offs" Basically, certain note sequences (the ones that have a full white top, and not a black ring around it) allow for you to hit the next fret button and for the note to count without the need to strum it - this allows you to play very fast sequences of notes that you would not be able to play if you were strumming it.
But I haven't seen the vid yet so I don't know what you see

I have a problem with that.
HE DIDN'T MOVE THE GUITAR AT ALL, Hes using the Power up thing where you or I would tilt the guitar upwards, hes using it without moving AT ALL, so I'm not sure I think that is genuine.
also, the sound of button mashing is different when hes using one hand, or two, so I think this is not 100% genuine, not sure how, but I don't think it is.

That's genuine. It might actually be This guy - the Guinness World record holder for Guitar Hero.
Did you not know that you can activate your star power with the select key? That's what he's doing there.
And when he brings his right arm in that's just a massive hammer-on section.
