Time zone configuraion

Yello! I've found the event page confusing (or rather posted times) and I have to sit and count a bit to get the times right, wich I dont really like, so I was wondering if anyone could gimme a "there->there->there->there" thingy whereas I can find the timezone configuration page for my profile. I couldnt find it by myself, so I'll have you do the job for me ;)

You need to hit "User CP" from the bar near the top. Then select "Edit Options" from the left hand menu bar and scroll down to near the bottom. It's in the section for "Date and Time Options".

Thanks, I found it. It was already correctly configured though, but nevertheless I cant make any sense of the event page not being correct for me.

There is a check box for DST (daylight saving time) what ever that box is currently set it to the opposite.

I think, if I remember correctly, the events calendar uses standard GMT which for us in the UK, on GMT, is an hour behind due to DST, so I'm going out on a limb here and suggesting the calendar is telling you its and hour or two behind your local time.

Thats the cause, basically.

[edit]Sorry its late, 5:33am, I'm just going to bed so i may be speaking nonsense.[/edit]

I'm having a similar problem, I checked auto DST and properly configured my time-zone, yet the events posted are one hour sooner than what their description says.

I can't be arsed to configure it properly, so I just adhere to the "server time" info in the posts.

Do you tick the box that says "Maintain same time throughout the year, regardless of DST changes"?
