I positioned a Canon IXUS on my balcony for more that a year and it automatically took a picture every five minutes. Then I made a time lapse movie by selecting the twenty most complex photos of every day and rotating a lowres window through the hires photo. Watch nature change in the flow of the seasons!

I found this by accident, and it's really quite a cool idea of doing a timelapse by adding in the movement feature it becomes alot more tranquil, such alot of work though!
