[TMN] Trackmania Thursdays!

Well, as the last Trackmania event was enjoyed by a number of people, I thought I would start up Trackmania Thursdays!

Same as last time, we'll just congregate on a public server of someone's choosing, play, chat, have fun, etc.

I'll look at getting us a server running on promethius too...

Also, remember it's FREE

On second thought, I just DLed the thing via Steam and might even come. I had TM United Forever downloaded, it rocked my socks, but as it was not legal I decided to get rid of it.

Ok I won't have our own server up and running for us for tomorrow, but I will look at doing it over the weekend.

I have now actually found the server program and the mod I want to use to control it, I now need to talk with someone knowledgeable and with the right accesses to install it and get it running

Well this event was a huge success...

All one of the people who showed up (me) had a good time playing the game, and chattting to themselves during the evening.

It happens. The first few weeks of TF2 night were me playing alone, drunkenly yelling at spies while everyone in the EVE TS channel had to listen. Good times.

Thoroughly sorry to have missed it. My family situation is not 100% stable at the moment, so I take my TMNF kicks when I can get them, rather than whenever the events are happening... :!

I'll make a better effort for next week.
