To one day be a raider?

Hey all,

I appreciate that I'm a complete noob. I've levelled pretty fast am now at lvl 62 on my orc shaman. However as I have done so fairly quickly I'm concerned that I may be missing something as I go.

I'd like once I get to 85 to join you in the high end content however obviously as I'm pretty much levelling by myself at the mo. I'm doing dungeons but these are all small group stuff.

I guess what I'm asking is what do I need to do to be useful to the guild in any way shape or form by the time I get to ~lvl80+ . Up to now I have been DPSing. I plan to start healing in dungeons on other spec and my real plan is to Heal once I'm at the appropriate level.

I'm happy to read guides or walls of text if you want to write them and also appreciate that coming in as a complete novice that it will be a good while before I'll be raid suitable especially as a healer but any advice would be awesome.

I will give you all the time in the world to teach you how to shaman. You've picked the best class in the game, so it's only fair ;)
