Hi all, thought i should do some promotion for Krater, a RPG the company I am working for is developing. We need people to join our test community for it.

Krater is an top-down roleplaying game in a colourful post-apocalyptic setting from Swedish developer Fatshark. Based on a new IP that is set to be released Q2 2012 with a public test phase planned for February 2012.

In short - it combines the combat mechanics of Diablo 3 with the top-down tactics of the classic old-school Syndicate and the world exploration of Fallout 2.

Krater takes place in a gigantic impact crater, where a city has been built on the aftermath of a bomb. Teams of adventurers, called free-diggers, compete with each other to excavate valuable pre-armageddon technology from an endless system of tunnels, caves and bunkers.

Krater is set in the oddly unique world of lush post-apocalyptic Sweden, where genre-typical deserts are replaced by nordic pine forests and red wooden cottages.

Some of the features:

- Singleplayer/2-player coop (PvP is planned for Q4 2012)
- Extensive crafting (craft unique abilities, weapons and items)
- Character persistence where both injuries and experience work in conjunction to evolve your team over time.
- Simultaneously control a squad of 3 characters chosen from 4 different main classes with a multitude of specializations.
Experience strategic gameplay with great depth while exploring the strange crater-world's main story(to be released as a trilogy during 2012/2013) and a gamut of side quests.

The images that come to ones mind re. "Post apocalyptic Sweden" :D

I'm picturing Ikea furniture enslaving Swedenkind and forcing Swede's to manufacture demonic meatballs that they will soon use to invade other countries. :p
