In my youth I became quite fond of browser empire games where you are assigned a plot of land and slowly build your empire all from your browser. The slow part didn't appeal to me as I had pretty much all the time in the world to sit planked in front of the computer and 1 hour 25 to upgrade my barracks was a pain in the ass.
I'm old and grey now so as a result 1 hour 25 to build a barracks makes me either question the stability of the structure or admire the construction capabilities of my tribe. As a result I've come across a little browser empire game called Tribal Hero. It's a very pretty little game, well written and completely free. The problem with other browser games is that they are pay2win. This one features no form of payment at all.
I'm currently rushing towards getting a tribe (clan, alliance, guild, swingers group or whatever you kids call it these days) set up, probably take a day or two, so if anyone fancies we can play together. You can register at the link above and use the referral code CF1BE9 so you're situated somewhere roughly around me. The tutorial takes roughly about 15 minutes to finish and then it's a game you can check up on every now and again.
Any interest in some casual casual fun?
