trouble joining THN COD4 server

I type in the password OK, it trys to connect, then it comes up with a "failed to initialise download" error.

I can join any other public server OK.

Fix it please?!!...

This may be something to do with the clan matchplay mods that we have installed. (pam4, etc.)

Something for Ronin and Traxata to look into.

yup downloading is on

When we first enabled the downloading Ronin had to do a little fiddling to get the forwarding it work.

When hes back I'll get him to look into this issue

Can't look at this now as I'm away from home and not back 'til Friday.

The "fiddling" was merely to expose the downloads. However, other parts of the web config are acting up so that's likely the issue. I'll raise it with Haven.

Actually, fairly simple answer. The downloads from the server for PAM and other mods are actually done through Promethius' web server. Behind the scenes a web server upgrade had happened and some stuff broke during that. Those problems are (largely) rectified but it took realising there was a problem to get to fixing them.
