UBRS - Guild raid

There has been a lot of people asking about the guild doing there own raids. So lets get the ball rolling with an easy one...

I am looking for 10 people to sign up for a UBRS raid on Wedneday night starting at 8pm (UK time). Anybody who is over level 57 is welcome to come along. Its obvious that we cant take in 10 Warlocks, so priority will be given first to the basic classes.

Please sign up.. This is a chance for everybody to show they have the skills and kit to progress to the next level of raiding.

Finally.. Success of these type of events will lead to the guild being able to progress to a full guild raid on ZG. No more pugs or filling up the gaps in somebody else's raid. Simply put, if we cant do UBRS, then other raiding events that are far more lucrative in loot and fun, are going to be nigh on impossible to organise.

Basic classes required for UBRS:-
1 Tank
1 Off Tank
1 Dedicated healer
1 Utility healer - Shaman/Druid
1 DPS
1 Hunter
2 Mages
2 Randoms

We also will be attempting to ease the pain and heartache that is being suffered by a good friend of ours. Some of you may know that Secord has not yet completed his Tier 0.5 set. This is down to fact that the very last quest in the whole upgrade chain of quests, is to do battle with a rather nasty boss. This boss is summoned in the Beasts lair, straight after Eleifsha successfully manages to skin the Beast.

This fight has been attempted before, and has failed mainly down to the wrong tactics and poor comunication. I hope we can remedy this tonight.

The key to the fight, will not be the tanking or the healing on the tank. Myself and Haven can cope with that without problem. The key will be the taking down of the adds that spawn many many times during the fight. When somebody shouts ADDS, everybody except the MT and main healer will take them down. When the adds are down then nuke the boss. Rinse and repeat.

He does go through three stages when being tanked, but that will mainly involve the positioning and distance that the DPS group will need to be aware of.

The other 4 places will be filled out by:

2 Mages
1 Rogue
1 Random (Warlock preferred)

A reminder to all that since the raid has been moved to Thursday, thank you Sgt. Fury, I wont be there till the back of nine so you'll have to do without me for the first part.

You sure it has? I thought most who had signed up for Wednesday couldn't do Thursday. So I thought it was staying Wednesday.

As far as I am aware this is tonight - shadow and I have planned around that fact and will be on and ready to go later on

There will be a raid into UBRS tonight, and tomorrow night as well if thats what people want. UBRS will kit you out very nicely for ZG raids.

Tonights raid will involve having a crack at taking down Valthamak as well.
