[Tech] Ultraportable Gaming Laptop

ok, for the moment im broke (as usual)

but im looking for a 14" or less (preff) laptop but with decent graphics and a hd out of some kind.

nvidia 9600 are in a stack of new laptops but they all have massive screens, i want some thing that can deliver great performance, great graphics, but small in size. any ideas guys?

Especially with ultraportables, you'll likely be disappointed with the performance. What games would you want to run?

exactly what i feared, l4d, tf2, that type of thing, i have to say i thought it would be a tad different as it has been the year of the notebook, and your getting 9600 in tippy tops,

I found this, which should run those games at playable levels, but it's a bit pink...

The 3470 is about the same as a desktop X1600 Pro, so:

- about 30fps on COD2 at 1024x768 with no AA/Trilinear/no shadows

- FEAR only at 800x600 with high settings

- about 45fps with HL2 at 1280x1024, dropping to 25fps with 4xAA/8xAF

- same sort of figures for FarCry
