Don't know if anyone has noticed this "feature" of 1.3 yet, turns out if you use an unranked server you cannot use unlocked weapons at all.

Fair enough. But when you password a server as well it turns it to an unranked server.

So therefore no more clan games with unlocked weapons.

Meh its a business decision to encourage more people to pay a licence for a ranked server. EA to be fair have never hidden their agenda i.e. to make as much money as possible (hence all the mini updates). This is just an extension of that principle.

There are probably enough ranked servers out there now that they "could" simply cease distributing code and allowing non-ranked servers. It'd piss people off but they'd get over it.

Yes it sucks. No, they don't appear to care about public opinion (you've already paid for the game remember!).
