Would anyone be interested, and if so, when would you be available? We could play the game again, or play the Return to Na Pali mission pack. Either Pestcontrol can host it, or if he's not around, I can :)

If there is anyone without the game... there are ways.... ahem.... we could.... cross that bridge when we come to it :eek:

Posting up a request for a prefered date always ends in tears.

Well I prefer to see when most people could play, and then mercilessly badger the ones that can't play then.

I would prefer not a Wednesday myself, but most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are good for me :)

I've got a working and tested dedicated server now, so that's mission accomplised there. :)

I've also created a new Unreal package updated to version 226 and using a backport of the high res UT textures, and some updated renderers. The game really looks awesome now, so contact me if you'd like to try. Of course, you're legally required to own the original game. ;)

Pest - care to elaborate on this package? Who made it? Is it just high res textures, or new code? Will it break my game? ;)

And yes, I own the original game

Its not like the package wont install without the CD ;)

It's just like the previous one, its a collection of all the latest patches and the high res textures bundled in one self extracting exe. Works fine for me.

It's worth getting for the textures alone, you could also manually upgrade using the elaborate instructions on www.oldunreal.com , this is just easier.

Yes, the calendar is a bit fubar atm, it's being sorted. I created the event for 7PM GMT, there's really no end time. Be sure to be on teamspeak and irc, coop requires teamwork, or it takes forever. :)

I may not be there at the start of the event, but i've started the server and you can connect to 82.156.167.207 or hbg.serveftp.com to play.

If you're new to this, you can open the ingame console with the ~ key (same as any game) and type: "open <address>"

Have fun in advance :)
