I've tried it and it works. Handy when a game won't officially won't let you use mouse control, but for whatever reason you do.
In my case, because I have a trackball it's ace for flight sims, but X-Wing Alliance wouldn't even start without a joystick connected. Hence this program was very useful
Edit: You'll need to download the "jmouse.msi" file and also the "howto.txt" for instructions.
