That looks damn cheap. Could be good but I'd not say "yes" unqualified without comments from someone who pays attention to graphics card technology.

The GT series have an overheating problem, go for the GTS instead, its a little more, sure, but has an oh-so meatier cooler on it :)

I've had both of those cards and the GT nearly melted.

That was standard, I literally put it in the machine, and it almost melted, Sent it back replaced it with the GTS 512

He's really not, the stock coolers on the GTs are renowned for overheating. As Trax says get a GTS cost a bit more but are generally a better card with a much improved cooling sytem. If you want a slimline card go for the 9600GT instead. It's a single slot cooler but doesn't have the serious heat issues the 8800GT had.
I'd say get a GTS or a 9600.

I'm currently running a 7900, I believe. Not exactly a recent card. I'm not really looking for a card, either, so I'm not going to buy a GTS if I don't get this one. I just noticed it was an excellent deal, is all.

I've read a few reviews now, and they've all mentioned how well cooled the XFX model is. I'll likely go for it, soon as I confirm it'll actually work in my computer ;)

I have a 8800gt, and i like it muchly ^_^. although its the first real graphics card ive had on top of a laptop one ^o). And i watch the temperature crunch up when i start rendering fur, but hasnt given me any major problems. although im not a tard who tries to overclock everything!
