I'm looking for some good video editing software as Windows Movie Maker sucks ass frankly. Damn crashes! So does anyone know anything reliable that can make my movies look pretty with minimal previous knowledge? :)

Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 comes recommended, although it will suck any system resources you throw at it. Some nice effects will be generated though! :)

Another thing you can use is Cyberlink PowerDirector, this is actually a composite program of two Cyberlink editing tools - it covers all stages of the production process, from capturing video to exporting it to a file, to youtube, to a DVD (complete with DVD menu creation) etc.
