Voyage Century MMORPG

Well, someone pointed me to a free beta of Yoyage Century, an MMORPG of pirates, explorers, or traders. Very funky. I've registered and am downloading the 1.1Gb client setup now, so I'll let you know how it goes on if you want to find out about it before trying it.

Oh, and on their page, it says (and I quote), "FREE FOREVER!". Well, free stuff is good stuff! Probably has adverts, but it's free. Most of you don't seem to mind them :)

Their talk about it:
Voyage Century Beta will be launched on 12pm (EST) 22nd December! It will certainly sweep through the whole MMORPG world likes a fury storm. Why don't you jump in the Beta immediately for special online game experience:

  • Huge game world background: free travel over seven seas,1026 findings, 206 kinds of ship, 54 ports and 14 empires are waiting for you.
  • PvP System: PK, guild war, city battle and world war.
  • Free Profession: want to be a pirate, a merchant or a explorer? No, maybe somebody want to be a fish-man or peasant in the village.

Ok, so I actually started the game yesterday. ANd it's pretty good fun at the moment. There are some minor issues with the game, but it's still a beta, so that's fine. They need someone who is fluent in English to read through all of their translations, but otherwise, it's fine.

And so, yeah. Free MMORPG, pirates and stuff. It's fun! At the moment, I'm making timber and iron, so I can become a ship builder :D

Might go pirate after that. Very good fun... Everyone get this!

Meh, it's pretty big, and WoW floats my boat.

Geddit? Pirates? Boats? Whoosh!
