Wanted: Windows 7 licence

Does anyone have a Windows 7 64-bit O/S licence key they aren't using and would like to donate to me?

Having splashed out on a new hdd I could ill afford and been let down by someone who promised me a licence key, I'm now on the hunt for a freebee.

Hugs, gratitude and cookies await!

I might have an MSDNAA freebie lying around that I can chuck at you? I might have used it once, but those are good for 3 (?) usually.

It's a Windows 7 Professional 64-bit key. :3

It's perfectly fine to trade licences for Windows. As long as each licence is only used once. I *do* actually want a legitimate licence, hence my asking here.
My only problem is lack of funds to actually buy one.

If Drae's licence is a valid, legitimate one then I'll relieve him of it, else not.

I wouldn't go asking for a dodgy copy here. That's what Google's for

Unfortuantly for you Xylak, part of the MSDN/MSDNAA license is that they are non transferable.

Just putting that out there

Does it also say all home users have to be owners too. That seems rather peculiar, considering A, its software and B, are you talking oem or retail

I am not asking to be objectionable.

It is neither OEM nor retail. MSDN AKA microsoft developer network is developer versions of the software license in order for you to test out your software on multiple machines.

MSDN licences are granted to the developer with the MSDN account- they are not transferable to other people but can run on as many machines as desired as long as they are only used by the developer.

tl;dr this thread has lost value due to the fact the chances of someone having an unused retail box of windows unused on their desk is slim.

Hey, :)

the chances of someone having an unused retail box of windows unused on their desk is slim.

Yes.

Still, they're better than the chances of someone having an unused retail box of windows used on their desk. :p

:D

Cheers,
J.
