What happened to the eve forums?

They're gone, all the threads have been moved to games chat, tagged with an EVE prefix. Why do you ask?

They were gonna get deleted or archived i thought as nobody uses them and they're not much use for posterity.

One could argue that's true of many posts...

Protip: bottom left hand corner of a forum, look at the Display Options. Fix the "Prefix" drop down and select the prefix you want to filter by, in this case [EVE]. Then click "Show Threads" and you'll be looking at just that content. Neat, yes?

So... now all the posts are gone, what about the group memberships? I have 5 memberships to EVE related things, and now the forums are gone, none of those are needed any more either
