Oooo, looks nice :D I wonder if people could develop games for this kind of thing? Sure would be interesting, Time Crisis with bullet dodging anyone?

Beautifully done. The 3D effect is striking and very effective, especially for that front target. It's almost a shame that the TV ends up being a boundary to the virtual reality sensed in the TV with head tracking enabled.

Maybe they should have a screen attached to your head, like those ones they had for the PS2.

Projection directly into your eyes is probably where it's at. Just stick a pair of special glasses on and you see the virtual reality. Black out the glasses and you only see the VR. Leave the glasses transparent and you've suddenly got a HUD for the real world.

Thats the SECOND duplicate thread

I thinks people need to PAY MORE ATTENTION :D

what does it matter people obviously missed it the first time so no harm done, also can never get enough of cool stuff.
That is just as good the second time.

hehe. I wrote something to do that a couple of weeks ago when i bought a wii remote.

Although I still think the multitouch full 3d thing i wrote was more spangly than that though :p.

Does this guy have nothing better to do than do "research" with wiimotes?

I suspect he's building up a portfolio that he can then take to one of these companies and get a really decent job designing this stuff for real.

I think the point of pointing out the duplication is a disguised reminder that one should use the search function liberally then bump an old thread if you've something useful to say about it or merely because it has become current news again and so people might want to review it. The nature of forum-threaded discussion leads very quickly to fragmentation or duplication if the posters aren't watchful and the Mods don't catch it. For trivial matters it's not a big problem but in more complex subjects or, in some communities, topics that show up again and again with the same FAQ-style answers it can be more serious.

This surely paves the way for '3D' games? Imagine playing FPS' with this and surround sound! Immersion like never before...
