Wiki maintainer for WoW needed

There has been a very nice explosion of new postings on the wiki of late and many of them relate to world of warcraft. Given this and in order to keep everything nice and tidy and avoid duplication we could do with a custodian from the wow community to track changes and keep it all congruent.

This position is in no way meant to control or censor what goes onto the wiki, instead it is to monitor duplication, formatting and any potential external abuse to ensure that the wiki is used as intended.

Have a chat amongst yourselves and if anyone is interested then I'm happy to do an intro on features of mediawiki and how to organise using categories and watch etc. Its actually a very small job to do this but I'd rather we had a pair of eyes on it.

Is this the way that wikis were first used(?), I am asking because when i opened the thread i was of the mind "why bother" and im now of the mind "this is a great way to share information".
