My sound crashes, then this pops up.

yup, this may be due to your VIA sound driver, as I had the same problem with my computer. If you are using an ASUS motherboard or similar, re-install your Audio drivers, including your HD Audio driver.

The .dll file ( VIASysFx.dll) is connected to the HD Audio driver specific to VIA audio programs (such as VIA HD Audio Deck) and is primarily used for microphone and surround sound usage.

All mysoundcard data came with my motherboard data came on 1 CD, shall i just do that?

Probably best to download an updated driver from your motherboard manufacturer - it is more likely to be stable.

what DeZ said - find your mobo model, go to the asus site and download the latest drivers for your OS

Did what a freind said last night (did a couple of "Fix" scans or somthing) and managed to fix it. :3 Thanks for the advice! <3
