It seems that alot (too many) of people out there are having issues with windows XP service pack 3.
I have just found this very helpful looking article linked from slashdot.
In the event of any problems, this looks very well written and is being regularly updated with new problems and solutions.
The reason I mention it is because apparently alot of the problems seem to be being caused on systems with the ASUS A8N32 SLi-Deluxe Motherboard, which is quite popular! (I have the premium variant of that so I am now going to be VERY wary of SP3).
