I think they are Feisar (blue) and EG-X (yellow) chassis - Piranha are yellow with a red nose, EG-X yellow with red trim.

Wip3out is my favourite in the series.

Its actually all totally possible to do. Its magnetic superconduction. Only works at minus rediculous degrees though hence why the cars were placed in liquid nitrogen before they were placed on the track which gives it some credibility in my eyes.

Whether these guys actually did this or not i dont know but i can tell you its all workable.

Liquid nitrogen is expensive, difficult to store, the containers to store it are very heavy, and it still evaporates very quickly. It is also not very easy to produce, nor particularly energetically favourable.

I predict that there is more of a chance of me nailing Jessica Alba than widespread commercial use of this technology in the transport industry.
