Wireless Headphones

Ahoy! I've just had a minor re-jig of the consoley/TV part of my room, involving chucking the hifi speakers altogether (kept the hifi, mind!) to make space for my DVD shelves and a PS3 slim (stop booing, you at the back).
That leaves me with no sound of course, except for the tinny rubbish that my TV emits, so I've been thinking about buying a pair of good, wireless headphones! Unfortunately, my knowledge of wireless headphones (and headphones in general) is a bit lacking, so I was hoping you brainy lot could point me in the right direction!
I'm trying to create a good setup here for console gaming/TV watching/music listening etc., so I'm willing to spend a good bit of money on them if it's worth it. £80 or so is probably within range, but I can flex around that if there are similarly good headphones for cheaper, or much better ones for a bit dearer.

Just to give you some sort of starting point, I was having a look at these:

Sennheiser RS130

which are priced about right, and seem to get mostly positive reviews. There are also RS110s, RS120s and RS140s, but I'm not sure what the nuances are between them.

Finally, are wireless heaphones worth it? I really a want a wireless pair, since my hifi is just too far away from my bed for the average wired pair, and if I'm playing Xbox or PS3 with a wireless pad then I don't want to ruin it all with a big wire extending from my head. However, if wireless headphones are notorious for being unreliable/of poor sound quality/annoying because of battery dependancy then I might be convinced to rethink my strategy.

Help is appreciated, and will not go unrewarded when I become king of this godforsaken planet.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

oh wait...

Only constructive thing I can add is that Sennheiser are one of the best makes out there, I have a nice set of earphones from them that are taking all the punishment I give em and they still sound perfect, so while I cannot comment on the particular headphones in question, the brand is known for being very good quality in all areas :)

I have top of the range (at least until they brought out a new set) Sennheiser cans, as well as a cheaper set which are more portable. Sennheiser make quality products and I fully endorse them, simple as that. I would always argue you'd be better off in terms of sound quality with wired cans and a headphone extension cable.

Discuss with bob about his new ( i think wireless) sennheiser gaming headset.

Thanks for the help, guys. I think I will give the RS130s a try, since Sennheiser seem to be able to do no wrong!
