As Trax and I kinda discussed last week, World of Goo is awesome, and out next week. I played the pre-release, and it's definitely worth the $20. Brilliant art, and excellent puzzle gameplay. Worth a look.

I want the 'profanity' sound effects pack :D
It's a shame they haven't finished it yet :(

I got the email, but the download bot was overloaded all night. I finally got it just before I went to bed. I did finish the first chapter though :D

On top of being wonderful to look at and fun to play, it seems the writing is fantastic as well.

Definitely one of my favourite games so far this year.

I had my tower up to 22nd tallest in the world before it tragically collapsed :(

D, I found the best way to build towers, is to use all of your goo, so that they're not free to roam about and un-balance it while you're building then continue going up and up!, I had 440 tallest with just chapter 1 completed :)

I have almost 800 of the guys. This does not sound like a time-efficient method.

I find the whistle does wonders for keeping the tower swaying in the direction you need.

I keep getting OCD on the story levels.... (which means all the goo's you can physically get have been gotten... :P)


The only way I have found you can do it, is with Ivy goo though

Indeed. The Tower of Goo was made as part of an experiment to make a collection of games, each within a week (or something). It was one of the games that worked.

Also, this is now on Steam, for those that like stuff like that!

And WoG works nicely on a tablet pc!

That's actually pretty damn awesome there, D. I was just watching the trailer to Aquaria, thinking how much I liked the soundtrack, and now you give the soundtrack to other awesome game! Well aren't you just great?

Just wait until his caffeine crash comes, then he'll be anything but 'great' :p

I seem to have a problem - when I exit the game all my progress is lost. What did I do wrong?
