You're not allowed to sell EVE currency, under the EULA, are you? And he only made $750k worth, which isn't quite a million :)

I know that this is an old thread an all, but it was $1m not £1m, not as good as it seems.......
He's now doing a Pixelotto, where people pay $2 per pixel, and then once its full, a random logo is pulled out a hat, and then a random person who clicked on that logo is picked out of a hat and they win $1m, and can donate as much as £10k of it to charity

You're not allowd to sell:

-WoW Gold
-WoW Items
-WoW Characters
-Runescape Gold
-Runescape Items
-Runescape Characters
-Planetside Characters/Accounts
-EVE Money
-EVE Items
-EVE Characters
-Steam Accounts
-Etc. Etc.

The list of things you aren't allowed to sell is almost endless, but so is the list of things people do sell!

What do you mean legitimate millionaire Taffy?

That's a pretty well thought out list there Psi! And indeed, I wasn't saying that the only thing you CAN'T sell is EVE currency. However, in Second Life, you can actually sell the ingame currency for real world money. The creators let you, and even have a way to do it on their website, rather then having to do it through eBay, etc.

No no no, you have it all wrong. You CAN sell them, your just not SUPPOSED to do it ;).

And as for being allowed to sell SL materials for real money, that's just insane .
