[Xbox 360] Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne and Alhambra

For Xbox 360 owners...

Gamespot report that some excellent board games will be extending the titles available on Xbox Live Arcade, including:

  • Settlers of Catan
  • Carcassonne
  • Alhambra

I own the first in the tabletop variety, have played the second, though not the third. They're all board games from German designers and, for the most part, the board games coming out of Germany are some of the best available.

I'm looking forward to them. Here's to hoping that they all support a good number of players (4 or more)!

Sounds good! ive been waiting for some decent board games to come out on Live, especially interesting ones I havent played before.

*cough* Anyway, I've been keeping an eye on Catan for some time now and it seems like Microsoft are perhaps maybe just about ready to release it finally. It says the release date is still 'TBD' (to be determined) but they've been harping on about it 'coming soon' for the past month or two so it can't be long now, surely!

EDIT: I've just noticed that the developers are BIG HUGE Games, thems who brought us Rise of Nations. That can only be a good thing!
