I was wondering what you'd all pick as your sound track for various things. For example, if you were in a movie based on World War II and you were the main character what would you choose for these genres?

Opening Credits: Cochise - Audioslave
Boot Camp: Kanye West- Stronger
Graduation/Saluting the flag: Soliders Song (Irish National Anthem)
Build up before a battle (Think landing boats before D-Day): Snow Patrol - Open Your Eyes
During the Battle (Think running out of the landing boats at D-Day and storming the beaches): Requiem for a Dream - Lord of the Rings (About halfway through when the great cacophony of violins and drums come along.
Slow Motion Moment: Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek
Your Heroic Death: Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars (My death will be in slow motion :p)
Your Funeral: Gary Jules - Mad World

So what about yours? :)

There's one song that always almosts brings me to tears, but I can't remember what it is :( That would be my first choice for my funeral, though Good Riddance is AWESOME.

Funeral: Blur - No Distance Left To Run

I must've spent at least two hours going through my music making up this list, and Im still not sure Ive got it right, but its good all the same. Definitely a good idea, Nanor :) Make us up another template after this ones finished!

I gave myself the arbitrary restriction that I couldn't use the same band in two different sections, though I could use the same artist under different guises if I needed (e.g. Combichrist vs Icon of Coil).

Had trouble digging out good links for all those, unfortunately. Too many samples when the tracks are at the best listened all the way through.
